I had been clear with everyone beforehand that I wished for this party to be happy occasion, where all of us just got together and laughed and amused one another like we always do. And it was. Although, it did feel as if something was wrong, I was not quite the happy self I usually am. Occasionally, I found myself just sitting and looking out into the air. Only for very short nanoseconds though (perhaps a bit longer, but it sounds more spectacular when I exaggerate a bit). I didn't realize that this was happening until my best friends adverted me. Or I realized that I hate goodbyes. My best friend Ola reminded me of when he was about to move to Norway a few years back, he was really drunk (and so was I) and when the time came for us to say goodbye I said something like "I'm not good with goodbyes, see ya soon!" and then I slapped him in the face (hahahahah, so funny, horrible.. but funny!) POINT: When he said this I came to a conclusion about the nanoseconds of disappearing: I kept getting interrupted by friends and family leaving the leaving party. One by one. And every single one wanted a long horribly energy-demanding goodbye. I can't complain though, it's only love, right?! And I love all of my family and friends whom came to see me yesterday. A special thanks to Nelly and her mom Agnes for bringing wonderful presents. The guide book "NYC" from Lonely Planet (where Nelly has put stickers on pages which we will experience together when she visits me) was extra treasurable to me. Although, every one gets a special thanks, and everyone knows why and how much I appreciate them!

I really need to finish writing this now and start packing. I will leave in less than 12 hours. Why always the last minute? And why always such a time optimist? At least I am never stressed, which is a good thing.
I will let all you now my new contact details as soon as I have arrived in The Big Apple. Will miss you all but new adventures are calling me (you know me!).
See ya!
(Now that is a reasonably short goodbye in my liking!)
/Yan (in about 12 + 12 hours) in the Apple
